The 2023 Cox Plate will take place on Saturday 28th October at Moonee Valley Racecourse. Set to jump around 4:10pm, the Cox Plate will be the ninth race of a 10-race card.  Considered the second of the 'big three' Melbourne spring majors, following the Caulfield Cup and preceding the Melbourne Cup.
